You can set the time to 24 hour display if you like so by navigating to preference and turning on the 24-hour display in the General section.
To set the alarm just slide the right wooden panel and set the time and sound as required by you. And that’s is it, now the application will show that the alarm has been set on the pale brown display just below the LCD.

Don't Panic! is a free software that let's you open and hide programs with a single click. Use Don't Panic! to hide multiple programs with a single click.

Don't want to get caught while playing games, chatting or internet browsing? Then just hit on the Don't Panic! button to close all those windows with a single click. With Don't panic software you can hide or unhide multiple programs, mute master volume, clear cache files, and it's an open source software.

How To Hide Programs!

Let's see how we can use Don't Panic software to hide programs. Download and install Don't Panic! and then follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Don't Panic! software.

Step 2: Choose the Tools menu and then choose Options as shown in below screenshot.

Step 3: A new window will be opened in which you can see various tabs.

Step 4: Choose Actions tab to select an action that you want this tool to do.

Step 5: In the actions section, you can choose to terminate or close processes of the selected software. You can also choose to hide or unhide the selected software or minimize the selected software to tray.

Step 6: Now choose Close (Hide) tab to input what software you want to hide.

Step 7: In the blacklist section, choose Show blacklist option.

Step 8: Click on Add button to browse and add .exe files of the software that you want to hide.

Step 9: You can also add keywords of software that you want to hide in the below section.

Step 10: Click Save and then main window of Don't panic! will open. Click save there also.

Step 11: Then again you will see the Don't panic! software as shown in second screenshot. Choose Show Panic mode option from tools menu.

Step 12: The software will minimize and you will see a small floating icon near your system tray section as shown below.

Step 13: Now open your programs that you have entered in the blacklist section and use them.

Step 14: When you want to hide or close all the programs that you have entered in blacklist, just click on the floating Don't panic icon near your system tray.

Features Of Don't Panic! Software:

General: In general section, you can start Don't panic! in panic mode or automatically check for updates. You can also set the level of transparency of Don't Panic!.
Appearance: In appearance tab you can select in which language you want this software to operate; from six different languages.
Actions: In actions tab you can set the software actions. You can also choose to delete all shortcuts from recent folder, browsing history, cache, cookies from internet explorer, and all files of recycle bin from this software itself.

It's like a short version of start windows option. But this software doesn't show, if any external devices are plugged in. And once you quit the software you can't find it anywhere in your computer to start it again; you will need to run the downloaded file again.

Rlist.net is a free web service which you can use in order to record online radio and listen to online radio. Online radio stream recording can be scheduled from anywhere in the world, so if you’re for example at work, and you cannot catch your favorite radio show, simply login into your Rlist.net account and schedule a recording session of the radio stream which can be listened online or you can download it as MP3.

What you see on the image above is the default interface that waits for you after registering and logging into the control panel of the Rlist.net free online radio recording service.

Free accounts are limited in the number of scheduled recording tasks that can be setup and duration of the recording.

Radio stations which you can record are offered by the Rlist.net, you cannot add your own, but you can request your favorite radio stations to be added to the list of supported streams by the staff, there’s a simple request form where you can do that.

Even though RList provides the option of listening to online radio stations, it is best suited for recording radio stations. If you just want to listen to online radio, you are better off using one of the software like RadioTime, Jango, and RadioMaximus.

How to Record Online Radio with Rlist.net

First step that you need to do is click on the Schedule Recording link which can be seen in the left sidebar. This will open up the recording task creator which can be seen on the image below.

Here you’ll need to enter task name, day when you want it to run, time, and the most important thing of all would be the Radio Station input box, the third one from the top where you’ll need to enter the name of the radio station that you are interested in recording. Start typing the first few letters and if the radio is supported it will pop up. On the image above we’re looking for “jazz” and jazz stations from the database have appeared on the list. Down below enter your Twitter or Email if you want to be notified when the recording is completed, when you’re done click Add.

This will add the task to the list and once that the time comes recording will commence. After it’s done, you’ll be given options to listen or to download the recorded radio stream. What Rlist.net offers is a very useful service and if you’re not a too demanding listener, then the free account should be more than enough for you. Free service.

Skitch app for Windows 8 is a free app that allows you to add annotations, pointers, draw objects etc. on an image. As Evernote has acquired Skitch, the application allows you to upload files directly to the Evernote so that you can edit it later or share it.

This Skitch app for Windows 8 is really simple and easy to use, it has been designed for use with a touch screen but a mouse will also do. This Windows 8 Skitch app is all about effectiveness and simplicity. The application is also available on other platforms like: Android, iOS, Mac OS X.

There are three ways to start with Skitch. As seen in the screenshot above. First, you are supposed to select a source over which you would like to draw stuff, it can be a blank page, an image or an image taken from the webcam. I really like the interface of the Skitch app for Windows 8 as it remains really simple and yet this does not affect the functionality of Skitch.

This is the basic use of the application to point out stuff on an image, so I did this and below is the example.
